INJECTABLE METHOD
It is an injectable drug—administered through prefilled subcutaneous injections—originally developed as an antidiabetic medication. It is a 97% identical analog of GLP-1, which stimulates the small intestine in response to food intake and acts as an appetite regulator. This substance works by helping the pancreas release the appropriate amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. It also slows gastric emptying and consequently promotes a loss of appetite, which in turn causes weight loss.
